My Gym Story

Hello Everyone today I thought I would share my reasoning of changing gyms.

So I’ve been going to the gym for about 3 years now I first started going to DW Fitness Club in my local area and I went there for about a year.

At first when I started going I had no idea what I was doing I had never been to a gym before in my life so I decided to get a personal trainer which was one of the best decisions I ever made.

When I met my personal trainer he asked me all about my health and what I wanted to obtain from my sessions and from then I had weekly sessions and in my first month I lost about 14 pounds.

I never thought I’d be the one to go the gym daily or lift weights or even eat healthy I just always thought I’d be a fat slob but slowly I started losing more weight.

Then about a year later a new gym opened in my local area called Total Fitness which my personal trainer was switching to so I went for a look round but didn’t really like it and it was very expensive so I thought I’d stay where I was and get a different personal trainer.

About a month later I started dating my now fiancé Eleanor which I have mentioned in previous posts and started getting bored of the gym and not having much money anymore decided to cancel my DW contract and no longer go to the gym.

Then about 6 months later another new gym opened in my area called PureGym so I decided to join there and not get a personal trainer as it was to expensive at the time which was a mistake so I decided to quit PureGym and about 2 months later decided to become a member of Total Fitness which I know said was too expensive but was determined to give it a go and asked about PT sessions but again was to expensive so tried to do my own routines and I lasted about 3 months before quitting.

About another 3 months later I wanted to start exercising again so rejoined PureGym lasted about another 2 months.

But 6 months ago I joined PureGym again and at this point I was available to afford a personal trainer who I had sessions with for about 5 months which were good but then he ripped me off but that story will come on my YouTube channel in the near future.

So as much as I loved PureGym and I thought I would never quit again I have now decided to rejoin Total Fitness as I’ve been enjoying the gym a lot more recently and my local PureGym was too small for the workouts I wanted and wanted a new gym start after getting ripped off.

Luckily for me my old personal trainer from DW is still in Total Fitness and has agreed to train me again so I’m very excited to start having sessions with him and get my fitness back on track.

I think what I’ve learned from going to the gym is I need a personal trainer to tell me what to do and help me on my fitness journey and I’d recommend a PT to anyone who just walks around the gym aimlessly just do your research on the right one.

Let me know your fitness stories in the comments.

10 Things To Do At DisneyLand Paris.

Okay so Last November I took my first and definitely not my last trip to DisneyLand Paris.

So today I thought I’d share 10 things you can do there if you’ve never been.

10. This ones pretty obvious but just get lost there it’s an amazing place with something to do everywhere and it’s got something for everyone.

9. Watch The Parade. As soon as me and my girlfriend got into the park the parade was on (Lucky Timing) And since we were there during Christmas time it was even more special.

Duffy waved at me be jealous yall.

8. Watch The Disney Stars On Parade. I only managed to catch this Parade once but it was the best Parade I’ve ever seen will definitely watch it every night I’m there next time.

Bit blurry but Mowgli waved at me too.

7. Do some Shopping. DisneyLand has a massive range of shops I managed to spend €700 in just 5 days barely spending any on food mostly just on the plushies and other little things.

Thanks to Eleanor for taking the picture and no I am not constipated.

6. RIDES. There’s so many Rides at Disneyland though I’m abit of a wuss and decided to only go on 2 The Slinky Dog ride and My favourite Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast which we went on about 7 times.

5. Meet Princesses. We only managed to meet Snow White and Ariel while we were there but we’re told they rarely have Ariel and since she’s my favourite Princess I Dragged Ellie in to wait for her.

4. Meet Characters. We managed to meet so many characters and the wait time wasn’t that long either.

3. There’s so many places to Eat at DisneyLand we mostly went to Annette’s Diner in the Disney Village.

2. Go To The Disney Village. The best part about the Disney Village is you don’t need a park ticket to get in so if your randomly in the area for abit and want to go to Disney but can’t afford a park ticket or haven’t got the time I’d recommend going to the Disney Village there’s a giant Disney store or you could visit the Disney clothing store and much more and most of the restaurants are based there.

1. DISNEY ILLUMINATIONS. Every night at DisneyLand everyone gathers round the castle for the Illuminations and it’s the most magical thing I’ve ever seen and I made Ellie stand there every night to watch it.

And if all 10 fails you could go find Rex and pretend he’s eating you.

That’s it for this post let me know your favourite things to do in DisneyLand Paris.

Disney Pixar Coco Movie Review

Hey everyone today I’m going to review the new movie by Disney Pixar Coco.

I first heard about Coco when I went to DisneyLand Paris in November and was excited to see it.

I had no idea what to expect from Coco as I hadn’t read anything about it and I don’t really like spoilers so try to stay away from all spoil like stuff until I’ve seen something myself.

Within 10 minutes of watching Coco I was hooked and couldn’t wait to see more it was an amazing film and I didn’t expect it to be as good as it was and can’t wait to get back to DisneyLand to get all the Coco stuff.

The storyline was immensely gripping with a lot of plot twists that even I didn’t guess and I’m usually pretty good at guessing what’s going to happen next in a movie.

I recommend this movie to EVERYONE EVERYWHERE 10/10 Honestly one of Disney’s best.

If you have seen this movie let me know what you think of it because I loved it and would love to know what you thought of it.

Bye For Now.

Happy 2 Year Anniversary Ellie

Hey Everyone so today I thought I’d write a short post about me and my Fiancé Ellie.

So as you can probably tell today is mine and Ellie’s 2 Year Anniversary.

Now I wouldn’t say it’s been happy all the way through but what relationship is but Ellie is one of the most caring and beautiful people I know.

We met on Tinder (Yes I know) and from the first day we met we have seen each other every day since and we actually got engaged a year and a day after we met.

Me and Ellie also decided to move in together about a year ago and I don’t regret it yet (Except for her snoring).

That’s it for this post.

Thanks For Reading.

Love you Little Critter.

Book Review: Rise Of The Dragons By Morgan Rice.

Hey Everyone so I recently decided to read a book on my Kindle after not touching it for months and I’m going to be reviewing the book I read.

Kyra, 15, dreams of becoming a famed warrior, like her father, even though she is the only girl in a fort of boys. As she struggles to understand her special skills, her mysterious inner power, she realizes she is different than the others. But a secret is being kept from her about her birth and the prophecy surrounding her, leaving her to wonder who she really is. When Kyra comes of age and the local lord comes to take her away, her father wants to wed her off to save her. Kyra, though, refuses, and she journeys out on her own, into a dangerous wood, where she encounters a wounded dragon-and ignites a series of events that will change the kingdom forever. 15 year old Alec, meanwhile, sacrifices for his brother, taking his place in the draft, and is carted off to the Flames, a wall of flames a hundred feet high that wards off the army of Trolls to the east. On the far side of the kingdom, Merk, a mercenary striving to leave behind his dark  past, quests through the wood to become a watcher of the towers and help guard the sword of fire, the magical source of the kingdoms power. But the Trolls want the Sword, too-and they prepare for a massive invasion that could destroy the kingdoms forever.

My first impressions of this book were first that it was too short as it’s only just over 200 pages and I’m used to a much longer book and that after reading the Blurb It would have to much going on in the story to focus on everything evenly.

In my opinion the story was told perfectly, each characters story fitted in with the others and I honestly didn’t think it would I actually thought I’d hate the book but I loved it and can’t wait to read the next in the series.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a good short book with a lot going on in it.

I also didn’t have to pay for this book as I got it off BookBub for free and who doesn’t love free books?

My GoodReads Rating: 3

Let me know if you have read this book and what you thought of it.
