Happy 2 Year Anniversary Ellie

Hey Everyone so today I thought I’d write a short post about me and my Fianc√© Ellie.

So as you can probably tell today is mine and Ellie’s 2 Year Anniversary.

Now I wouldn’t say it’s been happy all the way through but what relationship is but Ellie is one of the most caring and beautiful people I know.

We met on Tinder (Yes I know) and from the first day we met we have seen each other every day since and we actually got engaged a year and a day after we met.

Me and Ellie also decided to move in together about a year ago and I don’t regret it yet (Except for her snoring).

That’s it for this post.

Thanks For Reading.

Love you Little Critter.

Book Review: Rise Of The Dragons By Morgan Rice.

Hey Everyone so I recently decided to read a book on my Kindle after not touching it for months and I’m going to be reviewing the book I read.

Kyra, 15, dreams of becoming a famed warrior, like her father, even though she is the only girl in a fort of boys. As she struggles to understand her special skills, her mysterious inner power, she realizes she is different than the others. But a secret is being kept from her about her birth and the prophecy surrounding her, leaving her to wonder who she really is. When Kyra comes of age and the local lord comes to take her away, her father wants to wed her off to save her. Kyra, though, refuses, and she journeys out on her own, into a dangerous wood, where she encounters a wounded dragon-and ignites a series of events that will change the kingdom forever. 15 year old Alec, meanwhile, sacrifices for his brother, taking his place in the draft, and is carted off to the Flames, a wall of flames a hundred feet high that wards off the army of Trolls to the east. On the far side of the kingdom, Merk, a mercenary striving to leave behind his dark  past, quests through the wood to become a watcher of the towers and help guard the sword of fire, the magical source of the kingdoms power. But the Trolls want the Sword, too-and they prepare for a massive invasion that could destroy the kingdoms forever.

My first impressions of this book were first that it was too short as it’s only just over 200 pages and I’m used to a much longer book and that after reading the Blurb It would have to much going on in the story to focus on everything evenly.

In my opinion the story was told perfectly, each characters story fitted in with the others and I honestly didn’t think it would I actually thought I’d hate the book but I loved it and can’t wait to read the next in the series.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a good short book with a lot going on in it.

I also didn’t have to pay for this book as I got it off BookBub for free and who doesn’t love free books?

My GoodReads Rating: 3

Let me know if you have read this book and what you thought of it.

Thanks For Reading.

Pokemon Plushie Haul

Hey Everyone so I recently took a trip to Gecko in Wrexham and I thought I’d share what I got.

First I got Blastoise which I have named Baby Blastoise. HE IS SO CUTE.

Next I saw this Vulpix which I had to have again SUPER CUTE.

Then I went to the basket which had a selection of little plushies and I picked up this super cute Mew first.

Then I saw The LEGENDARY LUCARIO and again had to have him.

I also got Torchic as who doesn’t love a cute fire type.

I also saw this Growlithe which I also had to have (I basically just bought the entire shop)

Then I saw the Keyring section and had to have this Ditto.

I also saw Gengar in the Keyring section and since he is my favourite Ghost type obviously had to have him.

I then went back over to the shelf and saw this Aloha Sandshrew and had wanted him for about a month and they finally had him back in stock so I bought him.

And lastly I bought this cute little Squirtle.

That’s all my hands could manage to carry and my bank would allow me to buy.

I managed to spend £76 and worth every penny and hopefully I shall get more soon.

This post was not sponsored I just wanted to share all the awesome things I bought.

Book Review: Yu-Gi-Oh Volumes 7-8-9 By Kazuki Takahashi

Hey Everyone today I’ll be reviewing the Manga Yu-Gi-Oh Volumes 7-8-9 By Kazuki Takahashi.

‘ Game master Ryo Bakura wants to use the power of his Millennium Ring to put the souls of Yugi, Jonouchi, Anzu and Honda inside his “Monster World” miniatures forever. Now, with ten-sided dice in hand, Yugi and Dark Yugi must hack and slash their way through Bakura’s adventure and defeat the Dark Master Zorc . . . or die trying! Then, on the island called Duelist Kingdom, a battle royal is taking place to determine the greatest “Duel Monsters” player in the world!’

Now I’ve loved Yu-Gi-Oh near enough my entire life. Still watch the original TV Show still play the card game so when I first saw the Mangas I had to buy them.

The Manga is very diffrent than the TV Show with the characters having diffrent names and the storyline but still a very enjoyable read.

I would recommend this Manga to anyone who enjoys the TV Show or the card game.

Book Review: Tigers Curse By Colleen Houck

Hey Everyone today I’m Reviewing The Tigers Curse Book By Colleen Houck.

‘The last thing Kelsey Hayes thought She’d be doing this summer was trying to break a 300-year-old Indian curse. With a mysterious white tiger named Ren. Halfway around the world.

But that’s exactly what happened.

Face-to-face with dark forces, spell-binding magic, and mystical worlds where nothing is what it seems, Kelsey risks everything to piece together an ancient prophecy that could break the curse forever.’

Honestly when I first bought this book I had no idea what it was about or whether I would like it or not I just bought it because of the cute Tiger on the front.

Turns out I absolutely loved it I was hooked from the start this book has got twists and turns on every page.

I’m usually pretty good at guessing what’s going to happen in books but this one I was completely wrong every time I guessed which only made me love the book even more.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a book which has a twist at every single page and that keeps you guessing.

Once I finished this book I had to find out if there were any more of the series and to my enjoyment there was and I can’t wait to read them.

My GoodReads Rating: 3

Book Review: Northern Lights By Philip Pullman

Hey Everyone today I’m going to be reviewing The Northern Lights By Philip Pullman.

‘ Lyra Belacqua and her animal Daemon live half-wild and carefree among the scholars of Jordan College, Oxford. Her destiny will take her to the frozen lands of the Artic, where witch-clans reign and ice-bears fight. And the extraordinary journey that awaits her will have immeasurable consequences far beyond her own world. . .’

So if you just read the blurb and regognize the name Lyra Belacqua then you have probably watched the Movie adaption called The Golden Compass which is one of my all time favourite films.

The film and book are pretty similar to each other except for the last part of the book which was a complete surprise to me.

I’m so excited to get the next two books and see what happens next I have already pre ordered The Book Of Dust Special Edition out in October and im super excited for it.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good Dystopian or Adventure book.

My GoodReads Rating : 3

Let me know what you thought of this book and the Film if you have seen it.

Book Review: How To Stop Time By Matt Haig

Hey Everyone today I’m going to be reviewing the BEST book I have read this year.

Just look at the pretty Artwork.

“I am old. That is the first thing to tell you. The thing you are least likely to believe. If you saw me you would probably think I was about forty, but you would be very wrong.”

When I first bought this book I was so excited to read it as I’ve loved Matt Haigs work so as you can imagine I went straight home and read it.

In my opinion it’s his best book out there with The Humans coming second but that’s just my opinion and would defiantly recommend this book to anyone in the world.

I loved this book so much I gave it a 5 Star Rating on GoodReads: https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/51015143-simon-parker
